(Dan Tri) – Israeli officials continue to issue tough warnings to Iran in the context of the conflict in the Gaza Strip showing no signs of cooling down.

`Iran’s plan is to attack Israel on all fronts. If we find out they intend to target Israel, we will not only retaliate on those fronts, but also attack the ‘snake head’`

Mr. Barkat warned that `the sheikhs in Iran will not sleep well at night` if they oppose Israel.

Mr. Barkat also declared that Lebanon and Hezbollah, a pro-Palestinian militant group, `will pay a heavy price, similar to what Hamas will have to pay.`

Minister Barkat said Israel would target `Iran’s leaders` if necessary.

`Israel has a very clear message to send to our opponents. We are telling them, look what is happening in Gaza, they will receive the same treatment if they attack us.

The above statement was made after Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the security situation for Israel could deteriorate very quickly.

`If war crimes against Palestinians are not stopped immediately, many other fronts will open and this is inevitable,` Mr. Amir-Abdollahian  declared.

The Iranian diplomat then continued to warn the US and Israel that, if they do not stop their attacks on the Palestinians, `anything can happen at any time and the region will go beyond

The Israel Defense Forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah group have been engaged in a constant exchange of gunfire since fighting broke out between Israel and Hamas earlier this month.

Hamas said political agency head Ismail Haniyeh received a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian late on October 22 to discuss `how to use all measures to prevent` the attacks.

`They also discussed the latest developments related to Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip,` Hamas announced on Telegram.

Gaza experienced bloody days

According to the Palestinian health authority in Gaza, the number of deaths in Gaza since October 7 has increased to 4,651 people and more than 14,245 people have been injured.

Doctors at Al Aqsa hospital in central Gaza on October 22 said they had experienced a `bloody day` with the number of casualties skyrocketing due to Israeli air strikes overnight.

According to video captured by a reporter providing information for CNN, some parents in Gaza had to write their children’s names on their feet to help identify them, if they or these children were killed in the attacks.

Doctor Iyad Issa Abu Zaher said this was a `bloody day` at Al Aqsa hospital, with the number of bodies the hospital received up to 166 people.

Gaza health officials described conditions at Gaza’s central hospital as `catastrophic` on October 22, as the emergency department faced a sharp increase in casualties as well as electricity and fuel shortages due to the protests.

At Al-Shifa hospital, the main medical facility in the Gaza Strip, doctors were forced to reduce dialysis time for hundreds of kidney patients due to dwindling electricity and fuel supplies.

Israel previously announced a blockade of the Gaza Strip, cutting off the supply of electricity, water, fuel and food to this area.
